Special non guided tour days
Arundells is the former home of Sir Edward Heath. When he died in 2005 he left the house and its remarkable contents to a charitable foundation for all to enjoy. Its unique collection of art, sailing, music and political memorabilia, collected over Sir Edwards lifetime, offers something of interest to everyone, and a fascinating insight into his very varied life. The house enjoys a stunning location, just across from Salisbury Cathedral in the magnificent Cathedral Close and is set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens running down to a riverside frontage. Throughout 2015, Bank Holiday weekends will provide the opportunity to visit the house and view it in a very special way. Visitors will be able to walk around the house at their own pace and spend as much time as they like viewing the interior before visiting the stunning gardens. The Morning Cloud memorial and "Heath the Soldier" exhibition will both be open to visitors.
