Help for Heroes Colossal Cake Sale
In 2008, Help for Heroes asked the British public to raise money for our wounded service personnel by baking, selling, and buying cakes around the country- all on one date.
A simple idea, but it worked. In fact it was such a huge success that we held another one in 2009, when the 7 or 8 cake sales held around the country raised over £25,000 between them!
Spurred on by the runaway success of the past two years, we have decided to do it all again in 2010.
The Help for Heroes nationwide cake sale is taking place on March 13th and Salisbury's will be held in the Guildhall Square, from 10am-3pm.
There will be a large selection of home made goodies on sale; cakes, biscuits, meringues and chutneys, and also official Help for Heroes merchandise- all perfect gift ideas for Mother's day (the next day).
Please do your bit - we need donations of Cakes, Scones, Meringues, Jams, chutneys etc. Please contact Charlie Gale on 01725 513212, to arrange delivery / collection. All edible donations must be packaged and have a full list of ingredients supplied. Please spread the word!
