Martin Starke is running the Great South Run this year with Mike Draper and Martha Bedford from the news team, raising money for Spire FM's Charity of 2010 The Stars Appeal Caring 4 Kids Campaign.

Spire FM are supporting the Caring 4 Kids campaign as they aim to raise £500,000.
This would help fund a range of new facilities and equipment to make life better for thousands of local children in Hospital. These include a self-contained family unit attached to the Hospital's special care baby unit (NICU), which will provide parent's accomodation, play rooms and educational facilities for mums, dads and siblings.
This money would also help create a dedicated children's waiting and treatment area for the thousands of children that attend the Accident and Emergency department each year. Click here for more
