The Account Manager will need to successfully manage the current base of clients whilst selling additional products and services to these customers.

Proactive management and development of customer accounts is vital as an Account Manager, whilst ensuring agreed sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

  • Deliver sales against agreed targets

  • Have a full understanding of the customer, their sector, their competitors, and opportunities

  • Monitor the threat, offers and experience delivered by our competitors

  • Provide accurate weekly reports by agreed deadlines

  • Build customer offers that maximise profitability whilst securing the business

  • Develop and deliver a consistent customer contact strategy by email, phone, meetings and visits.

  • Deliver world class customer service

  • Deliver solutions that drive product penetration in line with wider sales targets and strategies

  • Ensure the provisioning and administration is well controlled and delivered within agreed timescales


Skills/Experience needed to become an Account Manager:

  • Sales and customer service experience is essential

  • Friendly and approachable manner

  • Competent IT user
