Stuart Mcginley
Hello and welcome to my homepage, if you want to drop me a line my email link is at the bottom of the page, happy reading!
Name:
Stuart McGinley
I was born in Wigan in 1972 and have since lived in Kent, Suffolk, Dorset and the Isle of Wight before settling in the New Forest.
After finishing school I used to listen to the radio all the time and then suddenly it dawned on me to do this as a career! Oh yes, you can't beat 'Bedroom FM' broadcasting to my sister's bedroom and the upstairs loo.
I got my break in 1990 and joined Isle of Wight Radio when they launched as a young shy volunteer. In 2001, I eventually decided to leave the Island to travel and discover more of the world and I ended up far far away in Hampshire!
Away from work I enjoy going to the New Forest for a walk or picnic, listening to music and eating out. I am an avid Ipswich Town FC fan and try to see them as much as possible, although the long drive and some of their recent home performances can test this relationship at times!
