Hi, I'm Craig and welcome to my homepage! Here is some random information about me, feel free to contact me and say hi

Craig Hicks

Name: Craig Hicks

I was born in Scotland in 1974, but came down to England within 18 months. I have always been interested in radio, owning my first ever transistor at the age of 4, and was greatly influenced by early Radio 1 and Radio Luxembourg.

I set up a radio station for the pupils of my school in Worcester at the age of 15, before the call of the pub briefly took me away from my chosen path.

I quickly returned to radio though when I started my media degree course in Southampton in 1993 and fully involved myself in student radio, oh and the pub. etween the end of my degree in 1996 until 2004, I worked in various radio stations in Southampton, Bournemouth, Brighton, and, oh god, even the island of Guernsey!

After the trauma of Guernsey, I came back to the uk in 2002, and had a spell regaining my land legs as a staff trainer for Sainsbury’s!! n 2004, I had the chance to present the Sunday night show on Spire FM.

This quickly escalated to filling in where ever there was a gap until October of the same year, when I took up the post of drive time presenter, and, here I still am! Still maintaining a healthy degree of pub time!
