Outdoor Events Larmer Tree Gardens Open
The gardens and Coffee Grove Cafe are open from 26th March SUNDAY TO THURSDAY each week 11am to 4.30pm until Sunday 20th August when the End of The Road Festival moves in.

We re-open on Sunday 17th September for the Autumn season until Thursday 26th October.

PLEASE NOTE the gardens are always closed on Friday's & Saturday's for weddings and private events. Do check our website for other occasional closures.

Exhibitions Arundells new exhibition "Britains long road IN to Europe"
A new exhibition has opened at Arundells in Salisburys beautiful Cathedral Close. Entitled "Britains long road IN to Europe" telling the rollercoaster story of the UK's journey into the European Economic Community and the pivotal role played by Sir Edward Heath. Through narrative boards, photographs, news footage, cartoons, documents and artefacts the exhibition covers the complex relationship with Europe with clear learning points from entry talks in the 60s and 70s and todays Brexit negotiations. There are cartoons by some of the greatest political cartoonists, Low, Vicky, Rigby, Trog, Illingworth and Garland. Secret papers detailing earlier failures to negotiate entry and iconic news photography and campaign materials from the 1975 referendum. Commented Lord Hunt, Chairman of the Foundation which owns Arundells, "the exhibits provide valuable background and context to Britain's sometimes strained relationship with Europe and to the current negotiations"

Exhibitions The Lemon Timers - From Eye to Line 3
Following on from their two previous shows, the Lemon Timers, a group of Wiltshire-based artists, are exhibiting at Salisbury's Fisherton Mill for the third successive year. The group has grown to 12 and each member will be showing several examples of their work. Watercolours, acrylics, prints, charcoal drawing, oils and bronze sculpture all feature.

Opening times: Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday 9.30am-5.30pm.

Exhibitions Kaffe Fassett's Colour at Mottisfont exhibition
Mottisfont celebrates the dazzling work of Kaffe Fassett this autumn, showcasing a wide range of textiles from a career spanning over 50 years. Mottisfont’s gallery will be transformed with pools of vibrant colour, providing the perfect backdrop for Kaffe’s distinctive knitwear, quilts and more.

The exhibition features over 70 works, carefully chosen by Kaffe himself to create an immersive world of colour. There are bright and beautiful quilts in every room, alongside a huge variety of other pieces showcasing Kaffe’s artistic skills, from armchairs to needlepoints.

Salisbury Circus and Juggling Club
Come along to learn or practice circus skills, from juggling to arial work to unicycling and tightrope walking. For 8 years and older (there is a junior club for 5 yrs up earlier in evening). £3.50 per person attendance fee plus a £10 annual membership fee.

This club can be access to perform in the Salisbury Community Circus and many other positive activities.

Baby Paddlers - Baby and Toddler Swimming Lessons
Swimming Lessons in Salisbury
Our fantastic swimming teacher Nicky runs weekly classes both at the Staff Club and Spinal Ward swimming pools at Salisbury District Hospital. Both are lovely pools with great facilities for parents and babies, and really well suited for toddlers and pre-school classes.
Nicky teaches children aged 0-5 years, and delivers a programme that works with your child’s individual developmental stage.
Swimming provides a great bonding and sensory experience and from the first splash, to the first kick and the all-important first swim, Nicky will work with you and your child teaching water confidence and water safety as well as having lots of fun!

Outdoor Events New Forest National Park: A Guided Walk
Join a qualified Outdoor Leader and teacher to navigate through the National Park and learn about the history, traditions and wildlife of the area. With return transport from Salisbury City centre, a guided walk gives you the opportunity to access one of Britain's National Parks without having to worry about navigating the rabbit warren of roads and tracks.

You will gain a greater understanding of the area as walks are themed to look at the varying uses of the New Forest. From it's role in the War efforts to the traditions of commoning, your guide will share information that you would not get were you to 'go it alone'.

Routes are chosen to give you the best opportunity to see the wildlife that call the New Forest their home and give you an insight into how the New Forest is managed.

Private walks on different days are also available.

Start-up Support Programme
Innovia is a 12 week support programme for Social Entrepreneurs. We run this in partnership with Rlabs, and the School for Social Entrepreneurs in Hampshire.

By the end of the programme you will have created your business plan, tested your product/idea, gained skills and developed a mindset for social innovation.

Topics include: vision and strategy, business model canvas, product development, revenue model, marketing, sales, types of investment and more. Each training session will be delivered by an experienced business leader or expert.
