Local Hero Awards

The Spire FM & Salisbury Journal Local Hero Awards is an evening to honour those people in our community who have gone the extra mile.

Local Hero Awards celebrates the incredible people who truly deserve our recognition and respect for making a difference and for helping others.  Those who make our community a better place to live.

LHA Header 2016

It may be someone who gives up their time to help others, or someone who has triumphed in the face of adversity. Maybe someone who has achieved in the world of sport, shown phenomenal bravery or who has gone beyond the call of duty as a member of the emergency services or a teacher? They are all true local heroes.

The event is one of the highlights of the year and the Gala Dinner at The Stones Hotel includes a four-course, fine-dining menu, entertainment and the prestigious awards ceremony.
