In your role as Property Apprentice in Salisbury, you will be supporting with the facilitation of purchasing of commercial properties for member-directed pension plans.

What you’ll do

In your role as Property Apprentice in Salisbury, you will be supporting the Scheme Property Team with the facilitation of purchasing of commercial properties for member-directed pension plans, working in accordance with team standards and controls ensuring that ongoing records are accurately maintained. 

  • General administrative transactions to include; filing, photocopying, scanning, creating basic letters, collating storing and processing of information and archiving.
  • Updating of departmental databases in line with departmental requirements using the IT systems and paper records held. Maintain databases and client file records to high standards and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, requesting information, as required. Tasks may include; taking phone calls and messages, responding to emails, creating letters and faxing.
  • Processing of payments for the member-directed pension plans.
  • Sorting of daily post for the department, prior to passing to the Property Team Leader.
  • Monitoring of the team mailbox.

  • Previous office experience within a customer facing administration environment is ideal but not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to structure communication to meet the needs of the client.
  • Minimum GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent.
