With overall responsibility for student support you will effectively manage the additional learning support, wellbeing and residential team.

£50,062 - £54,710

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Assistant Principal responsible for student experience at the College including student support and provision for learners with SEND/ High Needs. The post-holder (who will hold a SENCO qualification) will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of a purposeful curriculum that provides progression and stretch for learners with SEND and those with high needs, reflecting a needs-led and inclusive service. With overall responsibility for student support you will effectively manage the additional learning support, wellbeing and residential team to ensure the College continues to provide outstanding support to all learners.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have an in-depth understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, and have substantial and successful experience of leading and managing SEND and inclusion, preferably in a post-16 education setting.
