Sales Executive - Salisbury - £20,000 - £28,000+ OTE As a sales executive you will be proactive and enterprising with excellent communication skills.

As part of the sales team you will have the chance to develop lasting relationships with customers. There is a commission scheme, regular bonus incentives, training, and development opportunities.

The successful applicant should be an energetic person who is passionate about sales, wants to deliver exceptional customer service and enjoys working with people.

Experience in sales is a necessity and you should be self-motivated but also target driven, have attention to detail, used to prioritising workloads and taking responsibility.

A flexible approach is required to respond to the unexpected and deal with this in the most efficient way. The ability to work well as both part of a team and as an individual is essential, as is a proactive approach to work. Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for actively searching for new sales, and providing excellent customer service, both by email and on the telephone.

You will be pivotal in securing new customers as well as retaining existing customers

Take incoming calls from potential guests looking for expert advice
Respond to email enquiries
Contact new and existing customers by telephone to generate bookings and build relationships
Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets
Follow up on leads generated by marketing activity
Liaise with members of other departments to provide up-to-date information
Process bookings and update customer information on internal database system
Keep accurate records of conversations and email contact with customers
Occasionally represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and lecture days


Proven sales experience 
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening 
The candidate will need a can do, positive attitude who is confident on the phone 
Excellent written and spoken English essential
Experience of working with databases is preferred but not vital (training provided) 
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively

Hours of Work 37.5 per week - operated over 5 days but on a shift pattern including some Saturdays (day off in lieu)

Holiday Entitlement 25 days per annum, plus bank holidays

Salary £20,000 per annum plus a highly competitive commission scheme with no ceiling

Between £20,000 and £21,000 Per Annum
