Concert by St John Singers supporting The Salvation Army

St John Singers perform Folk Songs & Sacred Choral favourites in Salisbury Methodist Church, St Edmund’s Street at 7.30pm on Saturday 16 March. Directed by Stephen Abbott, the programme comprises both traditional folk songs, with settings by Vaughan Williams and Chilcott, and some of the great sacred choral classics, including Franck’s Panis Angelicus and Faure’s Cantique de Jean Racine. The evening also features contemporary music by Alison Cameron’s Close Consort of Recorders and promises to be a very enjoyable and entertaining occasion. The partnership charity is Salisbury’s branch of the Salvation Army, committed to transforming the lives of people in their community.
