About:
Hale and Woodgreen Horticultural Society in the New Forest is opening its beautiful gardens.

Hale, Sunday 12th May and Woodgreen, Sunday 9th June.
Adults £6, children free. Opening times: 10 am - 5 pm.

We choose the dates to reflect the differing soil conditions in the 2 villages and to give you more gardens to visit overall, with 2 full days of gardening enjoyment. There will be at least 10 lovely gardens open on each day. Hale gardens mostly have acid soils and so grow lovely early rhodo-dendrons, azaleas, camellias and many other garden shrubs and flowers. Woodgreen gardens have more varied soils and exhibit great early summer flowering beauty.

Tickets on sale from the Woodgreen Community Shop in advance or any garden on the trail on the day. Refreshments will be available and we expect to make significant contributions to a number of local charities.
