Saving Forests and Our Future, a talk by Professor Sir Ghillean Prance

Come to a talk by Professor Sir Ghillean Prance who will give an insight into the magic of the Amazon rainforest and with climate change and more recently, forest fires, hot on the agenda, will share why forests across the globe are so important and how we can all play a positive role in securing their future.

Sir Ghillean was formerly Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew and Scientific Director of the Eden Project.

A bar will be open from 5.45pm. Tickets are £10 with a raffle on the night. Proceeds are in aid of Rainforest Concern’s work in Latin America. Tickets are available from or Tisbury Post Office.
