The Amesbury Tree of Light Service
About:
Tree of Light Service is a dedication of Lights for lost love ones. Each white bulb represents the memory of a lost love one from the local community. Green bulbs have been added to remember the lost service men and women, as there are many service personnel that are a part of our community, attending local schools and clubs. This is a chance for the whole community to come together, remember their loved ones, sing some Christmas Carols, have some hot chocolate and enjoy a mince pie. We have a Schools Choir singing with the newly formed Amesbury Soul Singers Community Choir. Music will be performed by Shrewton Silver Band. We also have representatives, and vehicles, from the emergency services, so the children can enjoy these. the event is on Monday 9th December at 6.30pm, in the Central Car Park
