The fundraiser for Salisbury Hospice takes place on the 27th April this year.

The walk starts and ends at Five Rivers Leisure Centre, passing through the Cathedral Close where those who are walking in memory of someone special can dedicated a star on a memory board outside the cathedral.

There are two distances, 6 or 10 miles with special markers this year to tick the distance off.

MEMORY MILES:

Walkers will be given the option of a notebook and invited to write a memory at each mile.

Once the walk is completed they'll be able to choose their fondest memory to pop in a special box, it'll then be displayed in the Hospice for a week.

Event Organiser Katie Hughes said:

'This year's Midnight Walk is going to be really special for our walkers as we've introduced memory miles. This means we will be inviting our walkers to share their favourite memory of a loved one and this is so we can display it in the hospice for a week after the event. It's really all about remembering the good times and sharing that joy with others.'

Last year more than 350 people took part raising over £20,000 for the charity.
