The city has been brightly dressed to add a bit of vibrancy in time for the warmer weather.

Salisbury BID, Salisbury City Council, Wiltshire Council Area Board and Wiltshire Creative have funded the project.

2,500m of bunting has gone up around the city centre.

As well as multi-coloured bunting, the city dressing will also include an array of red, white and blue bunting in celebration of National Armed Forces Day which is being held in Salisbury in June.

Cllr Pauline Church, Wiltshire Council cabinet member for economic development and South Wiltshire recovery, said:

"The city always looks even more attractive when the bunting is up, and we're delighted that it will be some red, white and blue this year to celebrate Armed Forces Day National Event, to be held from 28-30 June at Hudson's Field."

Meanwhile the lights wrapping the trees in the Market Place, which were put up for the Winter, have now been taken down.
