FREE sports sessions for children in Salisbury this half term

Salisbury City Council is offering multi sports sessions at three locations during the coming school holiday.

Run by Community Activity Leader the sports roadshow will cater for children age 7 -14 from Wednesday 29th May until Friday 31st May.

The three hour sessions will take place at the following locations:

  • Bishopdown Sports Field
  • Harnham Recreation Ground
  • Bemerton Heath

Children will experience a range of sports including football, hockey, basketball and cricket.

They can also try tchoukball which you might not be familiar with.

The game is relatively new, it was developed in the 1970s and is a combination of handball and volleyball.

TURN UP AND PLAY:

There is no need to book you can just turn up and play, although you will need to complete a consent form with emergency contact details at the start of the session.
