The Wiltshire attraction is celebrating the arrival of a group of koalas by giving us a Down Under day out!

Longleat's marking the opening of Koala Creek by hosting an Australian Summer from 20th July - 2nd September.

Those activities will include an INDOOR BEACH in The Longhouse (opening from July 27th).

There'll be deckchairs on the sand, a chance to make our own sandcastles, have a go on the 'surfboards' and play some Aussie themed games.

More events are being laid on in the Main Square too.

We're told that's being transformed into the outback, with daily performances like dancing, didgeridoo playing and even break dancing battles!

Each day during the 'Australian Summer' will finish with an 'End of Day Hooroo'.

We're told that the Main Square will be turned into 'a vibrant spectacle of colour, music, dancing and excitement and an inspiring choreographed display'.

All the activities are included within your Day Ticket or Annual Pass.

Most of them begin on Saturday July 20th, with the Indoor Beach opening a week later (Saturday July 27th).

The sand at the Indoor Beach is certified safe for play.

Visitors are asked not to take buggies and wheelchairs onto the sand, but there will accessible activities and a pushchair park available.

The Indoor Beach does also have a maximum capacity, so during particularly busy times, there might be some restrictions to the number of guests allowed in.

Koala Creek opened to the public in March this year - it's the only place in Europe where you can see southern koalas.
