Salisbury BID's sending out the rundown of events and activities for the festive season

The guides should arrive through our doors this week (from October 28th), with 120,000 copies going through the post.

WHAT'S IN THE GUIDE?

There's more than 150 entries in the 32 page guide, taking place right around Salisbury in November and December.

They range from the Salisbury Christmas Fayre, to the ice rink; the city's panto, to the lantern procession; and the Nutcracker trial, to Santa's grottos.

Kara Rogers, Marketing & Communications Manager at Salisbury BID, said:

"Last year's what's on guides were extremely popular with locals and visitors, so we're pleased to make this year's guide even bigger and better.

"We hope the guides will help people easily see what's going on; encouraging them to come and enjoy Christmas in Salisbury and support local businesses."

While the guides have been produced by Salisbury BID, they're supported by Salisbury City Council, Salisbury Cathedral and Wiltshire Creative.

There's also details of all the activities on the Christmas in Salisbury website.

Councillor Jeremy Nettle, Leader of Salisbury City Council, said:

"With a full programme of festive entertainment and events, Salisbury has so much to offer at Christmas. I encourage everybody to take the time to read the guides, see what's on and come and experience the magic of Christmas in Salisbury."
