The sessions, set up by South Wiltshire care agency There4U, aim to give carer's some time to themselves.

Carer's Cafes are held on the 2nd Monday of every month in the Pantry in the Park at Victoria Park.

That's the old bowls club with the park, which has been turned into a social enterprise working with isolated people in the city.

There4U will using the space to provide some respite for full-time carers.

Their director Jo Broom explains what it's all about:

"We understand the demands of being a full-time carer for a loved one. We very much want to support (carers) and we hope the Carer's cafe will be a space and environment where they can meet with other carers."

It's free to go along to the Carer's Cafes, but any donations made there will go back into the running of the service.

It's open on the second Monday of every month, between 2.00 and 3.30pm.

Tea, coffee and cake is provided by the Pantry Partnership.

The Carer's Cafe is open to all, as a respite for those looking after relatives and friends

The first Carer's Cafe was held back in November, but There4U are keen to make sure as many people who are looking after relatives or friends are getting the help they need.

At each of the sessions, staff from There4U will be on hand to speak with people about their caring concerns and if there's further support that can be offered.
