A Wiltshire children's hospice has been rated one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the country.

The Sunday Times list placed Julia's House in 12th place out of 100 other charities.

97% of staff agreed that they're proud to work for the charity, and 78% of them said they were happy with the balance between their work and home life.

The organisation gives staff access to a mental health helpline to support them while they care for extremely ill children and their families.

They also offer staff long service awards.

Julia's House HR Director, Diane de Souza said:

"We are delighted to see an improvement in our employee engagement scores and our ranking"

"Both are good indicators to potential new recruits that Julia's House is a great place to work. The information provided by staff helps us build a picture of how effective they believe their leadership is, how they are managed, their team work, wellbeing and remuneration.

"We're then able to assess what is working well, what could work better and make appropriate changes."
