A number of online support groups have been set up in bid to help those affected by coronavirus.

Concerns for the elderly and disabled and how they're coping has sparked a wave of community spirit.

Volunteers are offering their help to those in isolation or worried about going out, with support ranging from dropping off shopping, picking up a prescription or walking a dog.

Some Facebook groups are also helping source vital essentials from shops such as toilet rolls and soap.

In Need! Salisbury And Surrounding Areas is one of the biggest with over 2,400 members.

Wilton mum Hannah Rose Abbey set up Wilton Covid-19 help and explains why she wanted to get involved.

"I visited an elderly friend who was worried because of her own physical health and she told me that she would be unable to obtain necessities if it were not for her daughter. Knowing the demographic of Wilton, it was obvious to me that there would be lots of others in her position who would need help."
