MacLennan is adapting their work during the coronavirus outbreak, as they celebrate their anniversary.

Managing Director Ian MacLennan says their founding 'in our kitchen in Amesbury' feels like a 'lifetime ago'.

Starting off as a building firm in the late 80s, the business moved on to specialise in damp-proofing and timber treatment, and setting up their waterproofing company in April 2000.

Some of their work has included the Houses of Parliament, Wembley Stadium, The Shard, the Kia Oval and venues for the 2012 London Olympics.

The business has grown to more than 50 employees, but has its roots in family, with Ian's two sons working for the company.

MacLennan's set up a 'virtual office' to keep the business running, although they aren't able to get out onto construction sites.

That's reduced the number of staff needing to work for the time being.

They're also continuing their online seminars for people throughout the industry, such as architects and engineers, to make use of in the comfort of their own homes.
