Covid-19: Salisbury Foodbank expanding donation points

Another supermarket in the city now has a space for where you can donate food to help support people through this crisis.

Lidl now brings to FOUR the total of big food stores in Salisbury where you can donate to the city's Trussell Trust charity.

WHERE CAN YOU DONATE?

  • Lidl, Southampton Road, Salisbury - donation point: front of store near exits
  • Tesco Superstore, Southampton Road, Salisbury - donation point: front of store near exits
  • Waitrose, Churchill Way West, Salisbury - donation point: near exit
  • Tesco Superstore, London Road, Amesbury - donation point: front of store near exits

Lidl now have a donation point for the Salisbury Foodbank, which supporting people during the current Covid-19 crisis.

Maria Stevenson from the Salisbury Foodbank told Spire FM News:

"We have seen some very generous bulk donations... thank you Salisbury Rovers, and Amesbury Police too."

"As predicted our food donations are down.."

"For those who are able to shop, please pop an item in our collection points (Lidl is newly added this week)."
