Here's a wonderful idea if you're wondering how to keep the family entertained during the coronavirus 'lockdown'.

Being stuck at home, especially with children to entertain, is proving a challenge more than ever at the moment.

Here's one idea to break the 'lockdown' fever.

There's an adventure coming direct to your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Wiltshire's Longleat Safari park is currently closed because of the Covid-19 outbreak, but that doesn't mean you can't see, and hear the animals.

  • The family attraction near Warminster is taking you on a virtual safari
  • The adventure happens from the comfort of your own home and sofa
  • A familiar voice will take you on the journey
  • Meet lions, tigers and much, much more

Longleat has said it would love to see little (and grown up) adventurers taking part.

You can take the safari tour on the Longleat YouTube channel:

There's also the Longleat Safari Park app with facts and quiz questions, and the Spotter's Guide

Longleat's bosses have said:

"We're not able to do this live but we really hope that you enjoy this Virtual Safari. Our team have been working so hard on it all week and we can't wait for you all to snuggle down and experience our safari from the comfort of your own living room."
