The Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop needs help with their project to knit a troop of mini soldiers and airmen.

They'll all be used in the next community display - called "Pilots on Parade" - at their Apache Cafe.

The knitted collection of troops will go on full display from early this summer.

There is no limit to how many you can make and send in, the more the better they say!

Here are just some of the designs that have already made:

The knitted military personnel will go on display at the Army Flying Museum soon

Knitters can either use a 1940s pattern which the museum has ready to download on their site, or you can make your own.

At the moment to musuem is temporarily closed because of coronavirus, so we can't drop them off, but we can post them to D. Ball, Army Flying Museum, Middle Wallop, Stockbridge, Hants, SO20 8FB.

And in the meantime, organisers say they would still love some photos for their online gallery.

All details can be found on the Army Flying Museum website.
