The Hampshire theme park's set up webcams so we can keep an eye on the animals while visitors aren't able to go along in person.

Life goes on for Paultons Park while the pandemic means their doors are closed for the time being, but the animals still need to be looked after there.

The new webcams are streaming 24 hours a day via the attraction's YouTube channel.

The penguins were up and about fairly early this morning

James Mancey, Operations Director of Paultons Park, said:

"We know how disappointing it must be for families who have had to cancel their plans to visit Paultons Park this spring. We hope that our meerkat and Humboldt penguin live feeds bring a little bit of Paultons Park magic to families during the lockdown."

We can watch the Humboldt penguins on site at any time, even scrolling back up to 12 hours so we can watch their feeding times too:

Feeding for the penguins is at 11.45am every day.

The meerkats are fed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11.00am.

Their webcam shows the animals keeping a watchful eye over the park for us:

James Mancey says they're also putting together other activities for us to get involved in while the park is shut:

"We know how much our guests love to learn more about the livestock we keep at Paultons Park. So, we've also uploaded a selection of activity sheets to our website and our social channels to help children discover more about their favourite animals - while having plenty of fun, of course."

You can find those on the Paultons Park website.
