Vita Skin Spa wants to give something back to those on the frontline working so hard during the coronavirus pandemic.

The St Ann Street beauty therapists have opened up a fund where for every £10 we donate in support of NHS staff, Vita Skin Spa will add another £5.

They'll then use that to give healthcare professionals a treat once the crisis is over.

Owner of Vita Skin Spa, Nikki Spicer says:

"We are collecting for our local NHS staff and once our spas re-open, we will use the fund to give spa treatments to our frontline workers. They can choose whether to have their treatment in our Salisbury or Winchester spa.

"Everyone who donates to the fund can nominate an NHS worker (one nomination per £10 donated). We are sharing their nominations and messages of support on our social media."

Among the nominations so far is one for Yasmin, chosen by her friend Victoria, who said:

"She works on the front line caring for patients with Covid-19, picking up extra shifts to help her colleagues and is in need of a break. She is also an extremely supportive best friend with a great sense of humour and I do not know what I'd do without her."

Anyone can get involved with donations and nominations to the Vita Skin Spa fund on their web page.
