Alabare are asking all budding lockdown chefs to get involved with #The5FoodieChallenge.

The charity are asking people to get involved with the project by creating a meal from four specific ingredients as well as one of the chef's choice.

The items are:

  • Onion
  • Pepper
  • Tomato
  • Cheese

Then once you have made the meal, you should share pictures of it on social media with the hashtag #The5FoodieChallenge, donate £5 to the charity and tag five friends to do the same.

Rebecca Mullen, Alabaré’s Fundraising and Development Manager said;

"The impact of the Coronavirus and lockdown measures have meant that we have had to look for new innovative ways to raise the vital funds that enable us to continue to be there for some of the most vulnerable members of society. We are hoping The Five Foodie Challenge will provide an enjoyable way for people to support our work as well as bringing friends and families closer together."

Like many charities across the country, Alabare have had to think of unique ways to fundraise.
