Chilmark charity given Bravery award for efforts

Serve On were nominated for a Spire FM Local Hero Award after providing vital services for those who really need it.

From deploying in disaster struck zones around the world to helping the elderly leave their homes, Serve On is a humanitarian response charity dedicated in helping communities in their hour of need.

The team are all volunteers from all sorts of backgrounds who come together to support others

The team have been active in disaster areas like India in 2001, Pakistan in 2005, Haiti in 2010 and Nepal in 2015, taking enough resources to sustain their time in the country to make sure that they are only a positive asset to the country.

The training they have provided in a number of countries has been vital and the services they provide has saved countless lives.
