Michael Beck has been recognised for raising an astonishing £416,363 for the Stars Appeal charity, and isn't planning to stop there.

Over the last 16 years, Michael has been an important figure at Salisbury District Hospital for his dedication to charity, and was motivated to give back following treatment he received there when battling cancer.

Michael can often be seen collecting with his trusty wheelbarrow "Wally" at Salisbury District Hospital, Mole Valley County stores, Southern County Auctioneers and B&M.

He even sat outside Matalan on Boxing Day to encourage shoppers to support the Stars Appeal!

The 87 year old's valuable work has helped people get better faster, return homer sooner and have a more positive hospital experience.

Michael's work has helped fund the construction of the children's unit, the second CT and MRI Scanners, and the Breast Unit among others.
