All hail Hale Primary - local school wins small schools footy tournament

Could the next Marcus Rashford or Steph Houghton hail from one of our local schools ?

A mixed under 11 team from Hale Primary School (pictured here) have won the Hampshire small school's football tournament.

The tournament held at Wide Lane Playing Fields at Eastleigh on Friday (30th September) saw seven small schools take part.

Hale didn't concede a single goal in the whole tournament!

As a result of their success the team from Hale Primary will now go on to represent Hampshire at the regional final in April with the winners of that qualifying for the national final in June.
