South Wiltshire's biggest village gets a new set of wheels

The TISBUS community transport organisation's taken delivery of a brand new minibus, boosted by support from a local business.

A brand new wheelchair accessible minibus is making headlines in Tisbury.

It's the exciting addition for TISBUS, the community transport organisation.

The voluntary group's been able to get the vehicle thanks to a grant from the Government, and local sponsorship from Bassets estate agents.

TISBUS provides affordable travel to anyone in Tisbury and surrounding area.

The new TISBUS arrived at its home in Tisbury on Weds 5 Oct.

The 15 seater bus adds to the TISBUS fleet of 3 buses taking members from their homes in the Nadder valley to Salisbury , Shaftesbury and Tisbury on weekly shopping trips. Membership costs just £5 for life. The bus can also be hired privately for events.
