Salisbury motorbike thefts could be linked

Three motorbikes have been stolen within the space of just a few hours around Salisbury.

In one case, the thieves even took the security alarm as well.

Police are now investigating to see if the incidents, which all happened last weekend, are connected.

AREAS TARGETED:

  1. WOODFORD VALLEY: Between 9.30pm on 16 April and 12.30am on 17 April, a Yamaha WR 125R motorcycle was stolen from the garden of a house in Salterton, Woodford Valley. The bike is blue and white, with grey grips with blue ends, ufo handguards and rock oil stickers
  2. DEVIZES ROAD: Between 11pm on 16 April and 10am on 17 April, a Honda CRF 250 X off road bike was stolen from the back garden of a home in Devizes Road, Salisbury.
  3. ROWBARROW: Between 9pm on 18 April and 7am on 19 April, there was a burglary in The Crescent, Rowbarrow, and an orange KTM Freeride bike was stolen along with the security alarm from the garage.

PC Matt Holland told Spire FM:

"We are keeping an open mind but believe these incidents may be linked."

"Enquiries are being carried out and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious behaviour in these areas during these times."
