Woman dies whilst walking her dog in Salisbury

The body of a woman has been discovered in a field in Bemerton Heath.

Police were called to the area near Sarum Academy just before 3.00pm on Thursday (13th July). The victim, a woman in her 60's, is believed to have been walking her dog.

Officers gave CPR whilst waiting for paramedics and the air ambulance but sadly they weren't successful in saving her life.

The death isn't being treated as suspicious.

Formal identification is still to take place and next of kin are yet to be informed.
