Woman takes electrical items from Salisbury supermarket

A Salisbury woman's been arrested at a city supermarket after trying to steal hundreds of pounds of electrical items.

The 34 year old was stopped at Tesco on Southampton Road at around 5.00am yesterday.  (Tuesday January 16th).

She picked up things like X-Box controllers, a coffee machine and a bluetooth speaker, but made no attempt to pay for them.

Salisbury Police posted on Facebook at the incident:

The woman was arrested and taken into custody at Melksham Police Station.
