21-year-old Skye Wooldrige has been sentenced to three years and two months in prison.

A woman caught in possession of Class A drugs in Salisbury has been jailed.

21-year-old Skye Wooldrige from Taunton was arrested in Lower Street in October and was found to have crack cocaine on her.

She was arrested on the 19th October and taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath but escaped from officers.

Skye, previously known as David, was later found in the Thames Valley area after a police appeal.

She was subsequently charged with escaping from lawful custody, as well as breaching a suspended sentence order, possession of class A drugs, breach of a Community Behaviour Order and resisting a constable.

PC Joe Shanklin said:

"Wooldridge has been uncooperative since her arrest - she escaped from officers at the RUH and was later located in the Thames Valley area several days later.

"I am satisfied with the sentence handed out - removing class A drugs from Salisbury's streets."

She appeared at Plymouth Crown Court on January 16th and was sentenced to a total of 38 months imprisonment.
