£5K reward offered for hit and run driver

A £5,000 reward's being offered for any information leading to the successful conviction of the driver who hit and killed a donkey in the New Forest.

The accident happened on the B3078 at Longcross on Friday 2nd February.

The New Forest Roads Campaign says the lorry which failed to stop at the scene had 'Highway Maintenance' written on the back.

It's thought another driver did stop and stayed with the Jenny donkey until an agister arrived to put her down.
