Youngster flown to hospital with serious leg injury after collision in West Lavington.

A 10 year old girl's suffered a serious leg injury after being hit by a bus outside a school on Salisbury Plain.

The collision happened outside Dauntsey's School in West Lavington just before 8.30am this morning (Tuesday 20th February).

The youngster was flown by air ambulance to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

The A360 High Street was closed by Wiltshire Police while emergency services dealt with the accident, it re-opened at around 11.00am.

The bus driver remained at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
