New Wiltshire site being looked at as investigation into possible poisoning of former spy in Salisbury continues

New sites are being looked at by police following the attempted poisoning of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

Last night (6th March) emergency services were called to Solstice Park in Amesbury

At least three fire engines were called and parts of the business park including an ambulance station were sealed off.

Fire-fighters dressed in green protective suits were seen going in and around the building,

Its thought was where an ambulance which was sent to the initial call in the Maltings in Salisbury was based.

This morning the cordon remains in place and Scotland Yard say this is a "precautionary measure."

The Counter Terrorism Policing network is now leading the investigation into the events in Salisbury because it has the "specialist expertise to do so".

The investigation into what caused Sergei Skripal and his 33 year old daughter to become critically ill is not being treated as a terrorist incident.

Police say they continue to keep "an open mind as to what has happened."

Toxicology reports from scientists at Porton Down are expected shortly.
