Scotland Yard give timeline of Salisbury spy poisoning

Police have released details of the car Sergei and Yulia parked in the city centre on the day they were found poisoned.

Metropolitan Police have released an official timeline of the events leading up to the attempted murder of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in Salisbury.

Scotland Yard's Senior National Co-ordinator for counter-terrorism policing Neil Basu confirmed fresh details of the former Russian agent and his daughters whereabouts leading up to them being found slumped on a bench in the Maltings.

Salisbury Spy Timeline of Events March 2018

  • Saturday 3rd March, 14:40 - Yulia Skripal arrives at Heathrow Airport on a flight from Russisa
  • Sunday 4th Match, 13:40 - Sergei and Yulia arrived at the Sainsbury's upper level car park in The Maltings
  • The pair go to The Mill pub in Salisbury, 
  • Approx 14.20 - The father and daughter eat at Zizzi restaurant on Castle Street
  • 15:35 - They leave the restaurant
  • 16:15 - Emergency services are called by a member of the public to the bench where Sergei and Yulia are slumped on a bench

The Metropolitan Police have since issued an updated statement on the investigation:

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in his red BMW car, registration HD09 WAO, between 13:00 and 14:45 in Salisbury on Sunday 4th March.

Scotland Yard has confirmed today that 38 people have been seen by medics in relation to the incident.

34 people have since been released, 3 are still in hospital and 1 patient is currently under outpatient care.

Alongside Sergei and Yulia, Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey also remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
