Greengages in Salisbury

The staff in Greengages already offer free drinks and have started the scheme as a thank you for all their life-saving work.

Emergency services will no longer have to wait in line in to get their hot drinks whilst working.

The family run coffeehouse and restaurant on Catherine Street are not only letting them jump the queue, but also continuing to offer them their beverages for free as they have done since March.

The local restaurant started the original scheme in March, after the nerve agent poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal.

Hundreds of police officers from around the country have been in Salisbury, and now Amesbury, since that incident.
