Third fire involving white goods in Salisbury area in a week

In the latest incident fire fighters were called to a fire involving a fridge freezer at a home in Coombe Bissett.

Crews from Fordingbridge and Salisbury were called to the property in the village just after 1am this morning (11th September).

The blaze in the property's garage  was quickly put out.

On Thursday (7th Sept) lunchtime fire-fighters were called to deal with a microwave fire in home in Ludgershall.

One person had to be checked over by paramedics after suffering smoke inhalation, but didn't require hospital treatment.

Meanwhile there was a lucky escape for another household in Salisbury on the 5th September after their dishwasher caught fire in the middle of the night.

It happened in Devonshire Road.
