Spate of vehicle thefts in Salisbury

Over the last weekend (8th - 10th September) 5 different cars or vans were broken into around the city.

Police are appealing for information over a spate of break-ins in Salisbury.

  • Overnight on the 7th/8th on Wilton Road near St Pauls, a vehicle had a Playstation 2 stolen from a boot of parked vehicle.
  • Overnight on the 8th/9th on St Gregorys Avenue, a parked car had a Milwakee radio and batteries, Paslow Nail gun and charger stolen.
  • Early hours of 9th in Lower Bemerton, a van was broken into into and the roller doors and locks were damaged.
  • Overnight on the 8th/9th on Pembroke Road, a strimmer and hedgetrimmer were stolen from a van.
  • Overnight on the 9th/10th on Brunel Road, a vehicle had it's chassis damaged and 4 alloy wheels stolen.

A spokesperson for Salisbury Police said;

"We keep an open mind when investigating these offences, but, due to the close proximity and timescales of the van thefts, it is likely that these offences are linked."
