Four vehicles have been seized locally in the last 24 hours.

Officers have been using their powers to take cars that are being driven illegally off the roads - with three cars stopped in Salisbury and one in Amesbury.

The Amesbury one was seized on Stockport Avenue in the early hours of this morning (Friday November 9th).

Police say that as well as the car being untaxed, the driver had no insurance, so they've been reported to court.

Two cars were also seized yesterday (Thursday November 8th) by Salisbury's Special Constables for having no tax.
