Emergency services evacuated the Summerlock Approach building earlier, but the cordon's now been lifted.

The building, which is near the back of Salisbury Playhouse, had to be evacuated this morning (Monday 19th November).

That came after reports of a 'suspicious package' at the site.

A number of police vehicles surrounded the building at around 11.30am.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue were also called out to the scene, along with an ambulance incident command vehicle.

We've been told that the response has been purely precautionary.

It's now been confirmed that the area is safe, and the building is now able to operate as normal.
