The 51 year old from Salisbury is now being treated as a witness in the investigation.

He had been arrested after the body of a woman in her 30s was discovered in Bence Court in Amesbury on Friday afternoon (November 30th).

That death is being treated as 'unexplained' at this stage while further investigations take place.

The 51 year old man arrested has now been released with no further action to be taken.

Wiltshire Police tell us he's now being classed as a witness in their enquiries.

We can still expect to see an increased police presence in Amesbury, in particular the Archers Gate area.

If you can help with any information, you're asked to get in touch with the Brunel Major Crime Investigation Team on 101, quoting Operation Majesty.
