Stones thrown at ducks and swans in popular Fordingbridge park

There's a warning after wildlife at Fordingbridge Recreation Park have been mistreated.

Fordingbridge Town Council says it's seen an increase in reports about cruelty involving birds at the popular park.

In a statement it says:

"Individuals have been witnessed throwing stones at wildlife causing distress and injury to the animals."

The Town Council is urging anyone who sees an incident like this to report it to the police on 101.

Incidents can also be reported to the RSPCA's 24 -hour Cruelty line on 0300 1234 999.
