Salisbury Police step up patrols at Christmas Market

Officers have been out in the city centre to try and deter crime in the run-up to the festive season.

Following some anti-social behaviour incidents in recent weeks, police promised to increase their visible patrols in Salisbury.

They're also focusing on preventing what's described as 'seasonal crime' like shoplifting and pickpocketing, which tends to increase around Christmas.
