Community nurses' cars broken into in Salisbury

Published by Faye Tryhorn at 1:20pm 14th December 2018.

The vehicles were targeted while the carers were supporting an elderly patient.

This happened in Downsway, Pauls Dene, at around 7.30pm on November 28th, but police have just released the details.

A Citroen Saxo and a Ford Fiesta had their windows smashed, with handbags stolen from both.

One was later found dumped at the end of Downsway.

The other was discarded in Victoria Park.

PC Martyn Powell said:

"These vehicles belong to two community care nurses, who were providing support to an elderly person at the time of the incident.

"Enquiries have been ongoing but I'd like to ask anyone who was in the area of Downsway, Balmoral Road or Victoria Park at the time, who may have seen someone acting suspiciously to get in touch."
